Students of Ibarapa Polytechnic protest non-accreditation of courses

Students of Ibarapa Polytechnic, Oyo State, on Monday 6am staged a peaceful protest that grounded academic activities for failure of the institution to have accreditation on some of the HND Courses

The students, who are to start Exams this Monday shut down the main gate leading to the school premises.

The aggrieved students complained that the institution’s management had failed in their responsibilities to resolve the issue they were having, adding that the management of the institution had mismanaged funds which was meant for the accreditation of major courses of the institution.

The protesting students, while fielding questions from the newsmen noted that the protest would not have been necessary if the institution’s authority had fulfilled its promise of accreditation of their HND programs.
